CIA segnet 'Blood Shot' Drehbuch ab


Was es nicht alles gibt: Dietrich Johnston will sein Drehbuch, eine Horror Comedy, verfilmen und da klopfen plötzlich die Jungs von der CIA an die Tür und fragen ganz freundlich, ob sie mal einen Blick in das Drehbuch werfen können. Der Grund ist ganz einfach ... der Film handelt von einem Vampir, gespielt von Michael Bailey Smith ('The Hills Have Eyes 2'), der für die CIA arbeitet und sich mit einem Team ruchloser Cops zusammentut, um Terroristen zu jagen.



Kein Wunder, dass die Jungs vom Geheimdienst mal einen kurzen Blick riskieren wollten. Am Ende ist aber alles gut ausgegangen, da es sich bei dem Film wirklich nur um eine Comey handelt und wohl doch kein Risiko für die innere Sicherheit der USA darstellt.

It’s silly. But it’s a fun kind of silly. Make no mistake, this is a horror/comedy with the emphasis on the comedy.

Initially, I was in contact with this guy from the CIA, and he wanted to read the script. They read the script, liked it and gave us their blessing. They told me things like what kind of operative the vampire would be, and that he would most likely work for the paramilitary wing. They got the fact that I was having fun with them, and that the comedic elements of this story have to do with the truly secret parts of our government. They saw that and were cool about it.
