Mick Garris, Autor der 'Masters of Horror' Reihe, hat bekannt gegeben, dass an einer Neuauflage gearbeitet wird. Diesmal ist Lionsgate als Produktionspartner mit an Bord. Garris hatte folgendes zu sagen:

They wanted to be involved since the beginning [of season one], but they didn’t act fast enough. Lionsgate is negotiating with a network now, so hopefully we will be announcing something soon and get back on schedule with the series.

- über das geplante Format
I always envisioned doing a series of MASTERS OF HORROR movies, but not as anthology films. We’d do it like the 'TALES FROM THE CRYPT' features DEMON KNIGHT and 'BORDELLO OF BLOOD'.

Diesmal also alle Grössen des Horrorgenres in Spielfilmlänge. Interessant. Infos zu möglichen Regisseuren oder Stories wurden noch nicht bekannt gegeben.
