Universal has announced the director for their remake of the 1941 classic 'The Wolf Man'. Mark Romanek ('One Our Photo') will be helming the project with Benicio Del Toro reprising Lon Chaney's role as, well, the wolf man. Erica Leerhsen ('Wrong Turn 2') will play the female lead. Here is what producer Scott Stuber has to say about his choice of director:


Mark has a great love and knowledge of film. He's a great and authentic storyteller. He looks for the truth in the characters, the scenes and in the set design. It's going to be exciting to see what he brings to the horror genre. - [frank]
